Choosing the Right Care for Your Dog
Each Camp service meets a different need, from daytime activity to overnight accommodations. Consider how long you’ll be away, how much social interaction your dog enjoys, and whether grooming or added enrichment would complement the visit.
Dog Daycare Choose Dog Daycare when your pup needs daytime activity, socialization, and time to play in the Camp environment. It can be a helpful option during workdays, appointments, or other times when your dog needs care outside the home.
Dog Boarding Dog Boarding is designed for overnight stays when you’re traveling or can’t bring your pup along. Day Camp is included with overnight care, allowing eligible Campers to participate in the daytime Camp routine before settling in for the night.
Dog Grooming Our local Dog Grooming services include professional bathing and nail trimming. Grooming can be added to a Dog Daycare or Dog Boarding stay, making it easier to coordinate multiple care needs in one visit.
Dog Enrichment Dog Enrichment adds brain games, engaging activities, and sensory adventures to your pup’s Camp experience. These activities provide a different type of engagement from regular social play.
A facility video can help you picture your dog’s experience before the first visit. Campers have access to indoor and outdoor play areas, with opportunities for activity and rest as they move through the daily routine.
For overnight Campers, the schedule includes group play, meals, and rest. After Day Camp, each dog transitions to an individual Cabin for the night. Seeing the environment can help you prepare questions about group play, daily routines, and how your pup may adjust to Camp.

We love Tri Valley Camp Bow Wow. Every staff member we come into contact with is so friendly and clearly loves dogs. We appreciate the cameras for all the play areas so you can check in on your dog to make sure all is well. We also really like their policy of having a dog come in for an "interview" before they can become a client, which ensures all the dogs have shown that they are comfortable in a group setting. And we absolutely love the emails we get from staff when they do extra play time, or snuggle time with our girl. It makes travelling so much easier. Highly recommend them!

I love the staff, like they love my dog! So far, I always have a great experience with the staff, both dropping off my dog and picking him up. Employees who actually love their jobs and love dogs. Friendly and caring. I have been to another well-known local resort that is overrated, and the staff are not as welcoming when dropping off your dog in their care. They also don't have cameras to view your pet while under their care. That is such a bonus, so that you can view the behaviors of the dogs and the employees working. Yes, it's a smaller venue, but I know I can trust the employees because I can view them and confirm the behaviors of my pet. Thank you for having such a wonderful staff! Says something when it's the same employees who have been there for years.

This place is great, we have been going here for years for all of our doggies, and with our new pup Waffles it's no different. The staff is very attentive to Waffles and her tummy needs. English Bulldogs have very funky stomachs and Waffles is no different. We asked them to not give her any treats due to her issues, and she came home with no tummy problems. Thanks Camp Bow Wow.

We’ve had our two dogs (12 ½ and 6) stay at Camp Bow Wow for extended stays and also day care, and it’s always a great experience for all of us. They are always happy to get there, are playing when I check the live feed, and are exhausted when they get home. I love knowing they are getting great care so I can relax while away. Our care standards begin before a dog enters the open-play environment. Every new Camper completes a Camper Interview, and our Certified Camp Counselors® supervise participating dogs throughout their time at Camp.
Our approach to supervised group care includes:
Compatibility screening: New Campers are introduced gradually before joining open play.
Thoughtful play groups: We group dogs according to size, temperament, and activity level.
Trained supervision: Certified Camp Counselors® receive training in pet first aid and CPR.

Preparing for Your Camper Interview
Every new Camper completes an initial Camper Interview before participating in our open-play environment. The process includes a meet-and-greet, an introduction to other Campers, and a gradual introduction to group play.
The Camper Interview helps us evaluate how your dog responds to people, other dogs, and the Camp environment. Not every dog is suited to group care, so joining open play depends on the outcome of this introduction and compatibility process.
Current vaccinations, good overall health, and compatibility with dogs and people are part of our general Camper guidance. Because specific requirements can vary by location, contact our Livermore Camp before your visit to confirm the health documentation you’ll need.
For Dog Boarding at this Camp, dogs generally need to complete the Camper Interview and meet current vaccination and spay or neuter requirements. We can explain the local requirements and next steps when you arrange the interview.
