In recognition of Pet First Aid Awareness Month, Camp Bow Wow, El Cajon will hold a Pet First Aid class from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 17.  Taught by the American Red Cross, this class will cover protecting your pet from injury, what to do if your pet is choking, not breathing, bleeding or has possible broken bones. The class will also discuss treatment for shock, poisoning, snakebites, and sudden illness, including carsickness and heat or cold emergencies.  The class fee includes the Dog First Aid Handbook, the Cat First Aid Handbook and two DVDs.  Class fees depend on how many participants sign up - if you are interested in attending, please email Amy at elcajon.scout@campbowwow.com.
