FAQ’S
(Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: Why does Camp Bow Wow interview all new campers?
A: We interview new dogs so that we can get to know them and get a feel for how they will interact with our other campers and Camp Counselors.
Q: What happens if my dog does not pass his/her interview?
A: This does not happen very often. If it were to happen we would recommend the dog to come back after 2-3 weeks or a training course if needed.
Q: Why are interviews only done in the morning?
A: We like to bring new campers into the facility when the regular campers are more active. We get a better feel for the dog’s personality when they are able to interact and play with equally alert dogs.
Q: When is the best time to bring in my camper for Day Camp?
A: In the morning between 7-9am. It is easier to incorporate new dogs into the play area before the others start getting tired.
Q: If my dog is laying down in the play yard, does that mean he/she is not having fun?
A: No. Most dogs enjoy the company of other dogs and many like to sit back and observe the others at play.
Q: What about feedings and medications?
A: We are able to accommodate special diets, food allergies, and medications (no injections can be given). Please inform us at drop off of any special needs your pet may have.
Q: Can I just do boarding?
A: Yes, you may leave your dog for boarding. You will still have to go through the interview process because boarding includes Day Camp during their stay.
