The Camp Bow Wow Difference
Camp Bow Wow offers supervised doggie day care and upscale boarding in a world-class facility, making the word "kennel" obsolete.
These features distinguish Camp Bow Wow from other boarding and day care services:
- Live web cams so you can watch your best friend's activities on-line
- All-day play for Day and Overnight campers
- Large play areas with indoor and outdoor access
- Three play groups at all times to fit each dog's size, temperament and energy level
- Climate-controlled, secure 5000 square foot facility
- Large, full-height, private sleeping cabins -- no stacking, crating or outdoor kennels!
- Boarding includes a private cabin, in-cabin dining, comfy bed and blanket, "campfire" treats at bedtime, and of course, all-day play. And it's all included, all the time.
Overnight Camp (Boarding)
Vacation? Business Trip? Allergic house-guests?
Bring your dog to Camp Bow Wow for an overnight stay! Overnight campers stay busy with camp activities during the day and go to their cabins only at meal time and bedtime. Siblings can share an over-sized cabin to make it more like home. Evening "campfire" treats and soothing music at bedtime are always included in your dog's stay. All-day play, private cabins and plenty of canine and human contact help your pup sleep soundly at Camp Bow Wow while you are away.
Day Camp (Doggie Day Care)
Long work day? High energy dog? Separation anxiety? Guilt about infrequent walks?
Bring your dog to Camp Bow Wow for a day at camp! Early drop-off and late pick-up allow you to focus on your daily routine while your dog plays with our Certified Camp Counselors and his or her favorite canine friends. We'll find the play group that best fits your dog's personality. You'll find the schedule that best suits your dog's needs - a few days a week, a few days a month, or just "as needed". One thing is for sure - at the end of the day, each dog goes home tired and happy. That's good for your dog, and good for you, too!
Getting Started - Interview Day and Registration
Like any Camp, we do have some rules for all Day Campers and Boarders. Your dog must:
- be four months or older.
- be spayed or neutered (if six months or older).
- be current on all vaccinations (rabies, distemper and bordetella within the last year).
- generally be in good health.
- complete their Interview Day.
Interview Day
We like to meet each new camper on an individual basis to make sure that Camp Bow Wow is right for them. Dogs must be friendly to people and other dogs. The Interview allows us to see how your dog interacts with other dogs, and how he or she deals with people when you are not present. Interviews are by appointment only, Monday through Friday in the mornings.
Registration
On the day of your scheduled Interview, please be sure to bring the following:
- Verification of your dog's current vaccinations (rabies, distemper and bordetella). Rabies and distemper are typically given annually with some veterinarians providing 3 year vaccinations.
- Your vet's information and an emergency contact (name, address and phone number).
- A quick-release collar and name tag.
- Your dog!
That's all you will need. Once your dog is registered, you can make reservations for day care and boarding on-line or by phone.
