Available Foster Dogs

Meet our current foster dogs who are looking for their loving fur-ever homes in Springfield!

Share

At Camp Bow Wow Springfield, we believe every dog should have a loving fur-ever home. We work closely with local shelters and rescues to help with their adoption efforts, and often have foster dogs staying at Camp. These dogs get to play all day with other Campers, snooze the night away in individual Cabins, and get lots of love and attention from our Certified Camp Counselors®.

Autumn Foster Dog 3-11-16
Autumn (Adopted!)

Age: 5 months
Breed: Beagle Mix

Personality

Autumn is a five month old spayed female Beagle mix from the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.  She's absolutely adorable.  Loves to give kisses.  Runs, runs, runs, around the yard and plays like crazy with the other spunky dogs.  She has been adopted and returned to the Humane Society twice for her energy and destructive behavior, but she's just a typical hound dog puppy that needs training and a healthy outlet for her energy. Camp Bow Wow is great for her ;-)

CBW-Tater-Foster-Collage.jpg
Tater (Available)

Age: 10 Months Old
Breed: Hound/Pointer mix

Personality

Tater is very loving and playful. She loves her toys - tennis balls, Kongs, bones and basically anything she can get her paws on! Tater knows the basic command of "sit" and will give you puppy-dog eyes that will melt your heart. We see many fun hours of Day Camp in Tater's future because of her high energy and love for socialization. She gets along well with other dogs but really loves attention from her Camp Counselors. Tater enjoys getting baths and posing for the camera. Help us find this active, happy girl a fur-ever home!
