We're only a couple days away from our 6-month anniversary mark and just wanna thank all of our client friends that have helped make Camp Bow Wow LIC a success! You and your pups have become like family to us and we're honored to see them having fun at our Camp every single day. Thanks to you and our keychain/ornament fundraiser, we have raised close to $600 for the Animal Center of Queens along with all the food, bedding and supplies you have so generously donated. We're proud to be working with Boris and Lori, the Directors of the Animal Center, and look forward to more fundraisers in the near future. 2009 is going to be an exciting time as we continue to grow! We have some things in the works like our Spring Fling adoption event and party this May. And in even more exciting news, we have recently teamed up with Paramount Pictures for their upcoming film Hotel for Dogs!! They will be running an ad in the Daily News next week in conjunction with our Camp and a contest in which the winner will get VIP tickets to the advanced screening in NY and 3 nights of free boarding at our Camp! Very exciting!! We'll shoot out a mass mail to everyone next week letting you know which day the ad will run so you will have an opportunity to enter the contest. Birthday Parties!
Celebrate your dog's birthday at camp!!
We are pleased to announce the availability of doggie birthday parties at Camp Bow Wow Long Island City! Birthday parties are held on Sundays while Camp is otherwise closed and our regular Campers are resting in their cabins. You may choose a small party, which can support up to 10 dogs, or a large party, which allows as many as 20 dogs.
The birthday dog and guest dogs receive 2 hours of uninterrupted play time. We include a birthday cake made with all-natural, healthy ingredients, as well as dog-themed decorations and accessories. Beverages for human guests are included; you can bring your own cake for humans or we can provide that as well, for a small charge. All dogs go home with a fun favor, and you get a picture of your birthday dog wearing a party hat. All dogs attending must have proof of rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations. Dogs attending the party do not have to be Campers, although they just might want to be after they see how much fun they can have at Camp!
Small birthday parties are $225, while large birthday parties are $275. Spots are limited for birthday parties, so please call well ahead of time!
