Home Buddies by Camp Bow Wow®, a premier in-home pet care service, offers dog walking and running, overnight pet sitting, web cams, pet food delivery, concierge services, pet waste removal, and care for special needs pets of all sorts in the comfort of their own home. Home Buddies DC serves the Northwest Washington DC area and are members of the DC Chamber of Commerce, Pet Sitters International (PSI), and the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS). Our company is bonded and insured by the Business Insurers of the Carolinas and our staff are pet CPR and first aid certified.

Owners/Bios
Thank you so much for visiting our bio page. Barry and I are animal lovers and joined Camp Bow Wow as franchise owners in December 2007, and are the current owners of Home Buddies in Washington DC. Prior to succumbing professionally to our love of pets, we both worked in government and government contracting for a combined 28 years. Barry has worked at an executive level to improve organizations through learning and development and I have held various management positions in finance, budget development and execution, and grants management. Barry is also a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy reserve and is a graduate of San Diego State University, the US Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), and George Mason University. I graduated with my bachelors and masters degrees from California State University and am currently working on a PhD in Business Administration (in my very spare time). We have two precious four-legged children – Maxwell and Jasmine (Shih-Tsu’s) who we adore. Maxwell (our first born) is a special needs pet who enjoys napping wherever you are, kibble-hockey, baths (not), and playing in the snow. Jasmine came four years later and is a spunky diva who speaks her mind. She becomes wide eyed with any mention of treats and carries around her squeaky squirrel everywhere she goes. They both are the loves of our lives. We look forward to sharing our passion for our pets with you and providing the same level of care for your precious pet that we provide ours.
