All new pets must complete an in-home consultation before any services can take place. This visit will serve as an opportunity for Home Buddies to collect information about you, your home, the services you may need and time for your furry family to play with their new friend!
Consultations take between 30 and 60 minutes, are by appointment only with at least 24 hours’ notice, and can be arranged to fit your schedule. Please have the following information ready for your consultation:
- Vet Name, Location, and Phone Number
- Micro-chip Information (if applicable)
- Medication/Allergy Information and Instructions
- 2 Copies of House Key

Policies:
Holiday Services: There will be an additional charge of $10 per day on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. All holiday charges go directly to your sitter.
Normal Service Hours: 7:00am – 9:00pm, 7 days a week. For exceptions to these hours, additional charges may apply.
Payment: Payment is required prior to service. If you think of something else you need us to do while you are away, don’t hesitate to call us. We can bill you later for any additional services.
Keys: We request two sets of house keys to be provided at the time of initial consultation. If keys are not readily available at the time of consulation the sitter can pick-up the keys at a more convenient time for you. We request that keys be kept on file in the office for future use; however, if you do not wish to keep your keys on file, the sitter can drop-off your keys after the reservation has been completed. There is a $10 charge for each key pick-up or drop-off to account for the sitter's time. All key charges go directly to your sitter.
Cancellations: If you cancel your reservation at least one week before the first day services begin, we charge a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel your reservation less than one week, we charge 50% of your job total. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours, we charge 100% of the job total. Due to the exclusive nature of overnight bookings, our pet sitters must decline all requests for overnights that coincide with the dates you have booked. Therefore, we charge a 50% cancellation fee, regardless of when the job is cancelled or the job total.
