About Us

Our Team

Camp Bow Wow® Greenville offers dog day care and overnight boarding and our highly-trained staff is dog gone passionate about providing safe, fun and individualized care for your four-legged family members.

We are so happy to be a part of the Greenville community and have gotten to know many wonderful pets (and their parents!) since we opened. Our whole staff would like to thank all our customers for letting us have, as we say, a 'Dog Gone Good' Time!

We think we are the best Camp Counselors your pup could have! Everyone on staff is a SERIOUS dog lover, with practical training in dog behavior certifications in pet first aid and dog CPR. All of us are eager to meet and greet you and your best canine buddy. Collectively we have many years of experience with dogs, and we promise to take the best possible care of your furry friends.

We spend all day at Day Camp, from early in the morning to late in the evening, watching over your Campers. We are the ones who give out the special Campfire TreatsTM each night before lights out, and tuck each Camper into their own spacious, comfy and clean Cabin.

We pride ourselves on getting to know your pup’s name, who their friends are, and just where they like to be scratched. We will take special care of your furry kids and make sure they have a PAW-some time at Camp. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

What’s your background (personal or professional)?
I am married with one 5 year-old daughter, and have lived in South Carolina for over 17 years. During that time I have gained 7-years of management experience, and truly enjoy working with both people and dogs! Coming to Camp Bow Wow was an easy decision for me because it allowed me to follow my dreams and interact with people, but also work with dogs everyday as well.

What do you love most about your job?
The dogs, of course! I love getting to know all of them and each of their unique and individual personalities. I like to spend my free time playing with the dogs at Camp developing a bond with each one, from our Great Danes to our little Chihuahua's they are all different but have so much love to give! My favorite part of each day is watching the dogs as they come into Camp, each pup is so excited and happy to be there which is an amazing feeling. You know you're doing something right when you work in a place that wants the absolute best for the dogs, and it shows!

Tell us about your pets:
Shadow is a 13 year-old labradoodle who still has a ton of spunk at his age. I also have two cats, Zailey and Esme. Shadow loves to sleep in the sun by the window and curl up near our cats when they let him.

What are your hobbies outside of camp?
Spending time with my family, watching movies with plenty of popcorn, and taking trips to the park.

If you were a dog breed, which would you be?
Brussels Griffon

Patty- Training Manager CPDT-KA Certified

Time with CBW: 7 years

What’s your background (personal or professional)?
I grew up in Milford, Michigan and have always had a special connection with dogs. When I was 19 I got my first job at a kennel working with dogs and fell in love, and ended up working there for 8 years until I moved to SC. I worked at a different kennel here for a year before I got my job at Camp Bow Wow. This is all I’ve ever wanted to do.

What do you love most about your job?
I love training dogs and getting that one on one time with them, but I also enjoy being in the play yards with all the dogs. In my experience, my coworkers are also dog lovers which means we all enjoy our work and therefore get to have fun! It’s very important to me that we all get to enjoy coming to work every day.

Tell us about your pets:
My husband and I currently have two Basset Hounds- Uncle Louie who is around 9 years old and Aunt Fern who is about 4 years old. We rescued both of them from the Carolina Basset Hound Rescue. They are both big lovers of people and other dogs.

What are your hobbies outside of camp?
I enjoy hanging with my family, playing board games and camping. I also enjoy the occasional hike and round of disk golf.

If you were a dog breed, which would you be?
I would hope to be a Vizsla. They’re fun loving, social and not bad to look at! They’re also very trainable, loyal, and energetic.

I love working with the dogs and helping clients develop a stronger bond with their dogs.

Tell us about your pets:
I have a 9 year old Weimaraner and an 8 year old Rottie. I love my boys and they are great family pups

What’s your favorite breed of dog and why?
I don’t have one really! I love them all. Of course I love my Weimaraner and Rottie, so I guess I would pick one of those breeds if I had to because they’re smart, loyal, and cuddly.

What would your dogs say about you?
That I don’t give them enough treats! That I am patient and love to cuddle and play with them.

I love making our pet parents happy and providing the best customer service possible, but the best  part of my job is caring for the dogs. I always want to make sure any animal in my care is being taken care of and loved to the best of my ability.

I have five dogs: Brie, Sam, Dash, Sinatra, and Jackson. They are my kids and the loves of my life. Every one of them has a unique story and they are all rescues.

I would be a Chihuahua because they are spunky, feisty, fun and loveable!

Sean- Dog Trainer CPDT-KA Certified

Time with CBW: 5 years

What’s your background (personal or professional)?
My first job was in a hospital in Florida. I was a patient transporter and eventually an O.R. orderly. I moved up here to work as an I.T. Security Engineer but did not enjoy it. I began working at Camp and loved it, and when the opportunity came for me to be a trainer I seized it and have loved every minute of it!

What do you love most about your job?
I love teaching dogs new things and problem solving when it comes to behavior issues. I enjoy helping pet parents gain a better understanding of their dog and build a better relationship with them.

Tell us about your pets:
I have 6 dogs! D'argo is a 6-year old chocolate lab who loves backpacking, camping, and long walks on the beach. Inigo Montoya is a 3-year old GSD, staffie, lab, chow mix and is the goofiest of them all. He came to us from Greenville Humane Society with some issues like stealing food from people and playing too rough. With some training and a loving home, he is as happy as can be now. Klondike is a 9-year old husky, the old man of the group. He loves ear scratches and sleeping on the foot of the bed. Icarus is a 4-year old chow/husky mix, and she is our shy one. She has storm anxiety but is super sweet and cuddly once she gets to know you. Mononoke is a 3-year old husky and a big loud mouth! She likes to how and sing whenever she can. She will also kiss you relentlessly if you let her. Last but not least is Rougarou, a 1-year old husky/malamute, GSD mix. We rescued him from a neglect situation of sorts and is the newest member of the family but he fits in great!

What are your hobbies outside of Camp?
Backpacking, fishing, and working on cars.

If you were a dog, which breed would you be?
A mutt! You get all the best parts of every breed!
