About Us

Our Team

Camp Bow Wow® Fort Mill offers dog day care and overnight boarding and our highly-trained staff is dog gone passionate about providing safe, fun and individualized care for your four-legged family members.

We are so happy to be a part of the Fort Mill community and have gotten to know many wonderful pets (and their parents!) since we opened. Our whole staff would like to thank all our customers for letting us have, as we say, a 'Dog Gone Good' Time!

We think we are the best Camp Counselors your pup could have! Everyone on staff is a SERIOUS dog lover, with practical training in dog behavior certifications in pet first aid and dog CPR. All of us are eager to meet and greet you and your best canine buddy. Collectively we have many years of experience with dogs, and we promise to take the best possible care of your furry friends.

We spend all day at Day Camp, from early in the morning to late in the evening, watching over your Campers. We are the ones who give out the special Campfire TreatsTM each night before lights out, and tuck each Camper into their own spacious, comfy and clean Cabin.

We pride ourselves on getting to know your pup’s name, who their friends are, and just where they like to be scratched. We will take special care of your furry kids and make sure they have a PAW-some time at Camp. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

Skills and Experience

Meet Kim Spyridon, the Certified Dog Trainer at Fort Mill. When she was little her family dubbed her the Horse Whisperer because at 5 years old she stopped and calmed a bucking trail horse that had thrown its rider.  An animal lover all her life, she has had a wide variety of pets. Kim has been with Camp Bow Wow Fort Mill since it opened in April 2016. She and her husband live in Tega Cay with their terriers Duncan and Finn MacCool.

"When I decided to work with dogs I wanted to find a better way than some of the methods I knew about. Then I discovered Camp Bow Wow in Fort Mill and when I was introduced to the training method that Camp Bow Wow promotes, I was hooked. We use a scientifically proven method that’s force free and rewards based. It easy to teach and understand, builds confidence in the dog, and the pet parent. It takes into consideration where the dog is mentally and emotionally. While it is geared to go at a pace that the dog can handle, you can still see measurable improvement in the dog with each session and practice. I am pleased to be able to offer training that is humane, kind, and gets results. We offer a variety of training options to help fit your lifestyle and budget. "
