Franchise Business Consultant

The Franchise Business Consultant serves as the first point of contact for our locations, customers, prospective clients and vendors. They manage the communication flow process for the corporate office. These positions will be responsible for the Texas Market and the North East Market. These positions will be off-site in the market area selected for.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages and resolves questions, complaints, and concerns from franchisees of their assigned region (30-60 locations depending on assigned region).
  • Manages and resolves questions, complaints, and concerns from customers of their assigned region (30-60 locations depending on assigned region).
  • Documents all daily communication and resolves all issues within 24 hours of receipt (including after hours).
  • Document Operations and Refresh meeting minutes.
  • Weekly Calls to locations that have a YOY increase/decrease in sales.
  • Oversees the compliance of brand standards for all assigned locations by performing webcam evaluations (1-4 per quarter), requesting Mystery Shop visits, and tracking all items of concern from all onsite evaluations performed by the Operation Directors.
  • Serve as the Operation Directors and Franchise Business Consultant for the locations in a select territory by performing onsite evaluations, reviewing sales numbers and trends, and providing suggestions to franchisees on how to increase sales.
  • Accompanies and assists Operations Directors with onsite opening training for new locations in their region.
  • Assist with labor coverage at corporate locations as needed.
  • Manages the Trade Dress compliance for all locations (over 6,000 items) by requesting photos of required items, tracking completion and frequent review of the brand standards manual for accuracy.
  • Attends onboarding calls for new locations and Home Buddies in their region and partners with the
  • Operations Director on the calls following the location opening training.
  • Documents operations manual revisions for the Legal Department to incorporate into manual as needed.
  • Collects documentation from all locations and maintains the company spreadsheet log for all registered franchises and their pets.
  • Creates course curriculum and modules for our learning management system.
  • Assists with all training by creating internal and external agendas, sending out homework for attendees, requesting background checks, ordering the printing of manuals, food delivery and coordinating presentations given by the corporate staff.
  • Create and deliver presentation of our roles at Corporate Training.
  • Assists Technology Department in all testing of new applications and programs.The Franchise Business
  • Consultant must possess excellent business and financial acumen. Technical expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet skills are a must. The Area Director must be flexible around hours available as well.

Essential Skills:

  • Time Management and project management skills are critical.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Experience with FranConnect or Customer Relationship Management software preferred
    Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree
  • Two plus years of relevant experience required.

Availability:

Full-time, exempt position. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. at the Corporate Office in Westminster, CO; attendance at evening and weekend events may be required occasionally. Business travel may be approximately 70%.

You’ll be interfacing daily with our franchisees, our corporate team and our various vendors. As the Customer Support Specialist, you will be a part of a dynamic team of experts with Camp Bow Wow technologies. You are responsible for supporting the technology backbone of the company. From our custom Camp Management Software – Data Dawg to websites, email, and inner office technology; you are responsible for insuring all areas of the company’s technology are supported.

This job requires the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment with a dog gone great attitude! You’ll be interfacing daily with our franchisees, our corporate team and our various vendors. As the Customer Support Specialist, you will be a part of a dynamic team of experts with Camp Bow Wow technologies. You are responsible for supporting the technology backbone of the company.   • Manage “level 1” support lines for both Franchisees and Corporate Staff for:
    •    Custom Kennel Management system
    •    Email
    •    Websites
    •    Company intranet
    •    Learning management system
  • Respond to support requests within 24 hours
  • Report directly to the VP of Innovation
  • Assist VP of Innovation in managing technology vendors
  • Assist VP of Innovation with technology related projects, including:
    • Strategic planning
    • Scope/Requirements gathering
    • Development
    • Quality assurance
    • Implementation
  • Work with Innovation Team to increase the presence of efficient, innovative technologies through strategic planning and project planning/implementation
  • Troubleshoot issues with company technology
  • Training support, including:
    • User and Admin training with company technologies, including:
    • Custom Kennel Management Software / Websites / Email / Company intranet * Additional tasks as assigned based on team’s needs

Essential Skills

  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be extremely organized, flexible, a quick learner, a team player, and great at problem solving
  • Must have excellent knowledge of relevant products and fundamental operation of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, Apple and Android devices
  • Preferred Skills Include:
    • Understands database operations including MySQL
    • Working knowledge of HTML, HTML5, and JavaScript programing languages

Availability 

This is a full time, exempt position with the ability to work on nights, weekends and holidays as necessary. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. at the Corporate Office in Westminster, CO. Technology updates are commonly conducted “after hours” and will be required as well. Business travel may be required occasionally.
